The Annual Day celebration of the academic year 2024–25 was held on 13 December 2024. The programme began at 5 p.m. under the presidency of Rev. Sr. Shalbi Pereppilly and was inaugurated by Mrs. Suchithra Shiyjinth (CBSE city coordinator Ernakulam)
The vibrant cultural performances of our students added beauty and elegance to the event. Students who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities were honoured on that occasion.Academic Excellence
Among the 34 students who appeared for the Class 10 CBSE Board Examination:
- Alan Shervin & Ann Mariya Shervin secured first rank with 95%
- 2 students scored above 90%
- 14 students scored above 80%
- 16 students scored above 60%
All students qualified for higher studies with commendable results.
Social Responsibility Initiatives
- To help students to understand the realities of life and to develop empathy, the students of Class 10 along with teachers and PTA representatives visited St. Antony’s Sadan, a home for the mentally and physically challenged, on 18 December 2024.
- The amount collected through the Food Court, organized by the students during Sports Day and Annual Day, was handed over to the institution. Students spent the day with the residents, creating meaningful memories.
Demonstrating the growth of a compassionate and socially responsible new generation, our students mobilized and contributed approximately three lakh rupees towards medical assistance for students of our school.

To make school life enjoyable and learning more experiential, educational tours were organised in the first week of February 2024:
- UKG, Class 1 & Class 2 – Lulu Mall
- Class 3 & 4 – Chavakkad Marine World
- Class 5 & 6 – Indriya Adventurous Park
- Class 7, 8 & 9 – Munnar
Beginning of the Academic Year 2025–26
The new academic year commenced on 2 June 2025 with a Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m. Around 200 new students have joined the Isabella family, a stepping into the world of knowledge.
To promote holistic development, students were grouped into different Houses and Clubs, through which numerous academic and non-academic activities were conducted.

School Election 2025
To help students to understand the value of voting and democratic participation, the school election was held on 13th of June.
The elected leaders were:
- Head Boy – Ferdin William of class 11
- Head Girl – Ansa Charles of class 11
Co-Curricular Activities
The school continues to provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities aimed at promoting the all-round development of students. The activities offered include guitar, keyboard, drums, drawing, music, dance, football, and throw ball, all of which have been functioning effectively with active student participation.
This year, we further expanded our activity spectrum by introducing basketball, boxing, karate, and skating, giving students wider opportunities to explore their talents, develop physical fitness, and build confidence. These activities have not only enhanced students’ skills but also contributed significantly to their discipline, teamwork, and overall personality development.
Modern education emphasizes experiential learning. The Isabellian Expo, organized by the Eco Club and the Mathematics Club, showcased how academic concepts are connected to daily life.
All students enthusiastically participated in the Expo and Environment Day celebrations.
As part of the project “One Pot of Flowers for Onam”, the school carried out a Marigold cultivation activity in collaboration with Varappuzha Panchayat and Krishi Bhavan, giving students hands-on experience in farming. Our school was selected as the Best Cultivated Institution in Varappuzha Grama Panchayat, which served as an energy booster for this year’s marigold cultivation.
Arts, Literature & Sports Achievements
To discover and nourish the artistic and literary talents of students, the Language Club organized the Isabellian Fest and various painting competitions.
Sports Day was celebrated grandly under the leadership of the Physical Education Teachers and Class 11 students.
A newly constructed Basketball Court was inaugurated with an exciting friendly match between Infant Jesus Public School Alangad and Boys’ Home, Koonammavu.
The Inter-School Penalty Shootout Tournament was conducted successfully this year as well.In Sargadhwani 2025, organized by the Central Kerala Sahodaya, our students participated in 10 events and secured A Grade in 8 events.
Students also excelled in Basketball, Football, and Throwball tournaments conducted by Sahodaya and other schools.
Students from the KG section brought pride to the school by securing district-level ranks, including the First Rank in the District Level Abacus Examination 2025. Twenty-seven students from Classes I to V were selected to represent the school at the State Level of the National Inter-School Arithmetic Genius Competition. Our young learners also showcased commendable performance in the Rajagiri Kids Fest, earning appreciation for their talent and enthusiasm.
Adding to our achievements, Kaitlyn Libin of Class IV has been selected to the Kerala Roller Basketball Team, a remarkable accomplishment at such a young age. Her dedication and hard work stand as an inspiration to all our students.
Teacher Training & Parent Enrichment
Our Physical Education faculty members, Mr. Shagil C. G. and Mr. Rinshad A. R., have brought great honour to the school by being selected to the Kerala Handball Team for the 8th National Masters Games. Their success serves as a motivation for our students to pursue sports with passion and determination.
To effectively implement new educational approaches such as Experiential Learning and Competency-Based Education, teachers attended various professional development sessions recommended by CBSE.
In today’s digital era, parenting has become increasingly challenging. A highly beneficial Parenting Awareness Class, led by Dr. Vinija, was organized for parents.
To help students to choose career paths based on their abilities and interests, a Career Guidance Session for Classes 10–12 was conducted by Mr. Sajeev K. M.
A Spiritual Nourishment Session was also arranged for Class 12 students to help them to manage exam-related stress.Conclusion
With 27 years of dedicated service, Isabella De Rosis Public School continues its journey with over 1650 students and more than 100 teaching and non-teaching staff, moving forward with hope and determination.
